RCG Health Services is a provider of CDS based in Missouri. With our CDS program, you have the option to hire a friend or family member as your caregiver, all at no cost to you! If you don't have someone available to assist you, we can connect you with a highly qualified caregiver for support in your home. These services are based on Medicaid eligibility. Empowering Consumers

Consumer Directed Services (CDS) provides a tailored approach to caregiving that allows consumers to manage their own support services. Think of it as having the ability to control your care, enabling you to decide who helps you and at what times. Rather than adopting a generic solution, CDS adjusts caregiving to fit your individual requirements and desires.

Who Is Eligible?

The RCG Health Services CDS program offers an excellent opportunity for a family member or friend to receive $14 an hour

for caring for their loved one in the familiar surroundings of their home. You can spend quality time with people you love, choose a caregiver you trust, minimize trips to the hospital and avoid caregiver turnover.

Check Your Eligibility For This Program

The consumer must be receiving or eligible for Medicaid

The consumer must be at least 18 years of age or older

Have a physical disability

Be seeking or living in an independent living situation

Be able to self-direct their services

The attendant must be 18 years of age or older

A friend or family member may be hired as an attendant. Exceptions include spouses, and anyone under the age of 18

The attendant must clear a background check through the Missouri State Family Care Safety Registry.

Be able and willing to recruit, select and manage their attendants.

How It Works

Home Assessed:

A nurse will visit you at home to determine if you're eligible for Medicaid-funded care. You'll find out how many weekly hours of care you can get.

Select a Caregiver:

You can select a caregiver from your daughter, son, relative or friend. We will visit your home to help you enroll in the program.

Get Started:

You Get Care - They Get Paid. You receive continuous care from someone who cares about you, while they gain peace of mind knowing they are compensated for the care they provided.
